Article about Textbook Accessibility

Hi All,
I saw an article today that I find interesting about what major textbook publishers in the US are doing to make their books accessible.

It would be especially interesting to find out what discipline-specific alt text guidelines. Wiley are coming up with.
When I was writing my reports for the EPubs during the last few weeks, I started to suggest using The Diagram Center:

to provide some guidance on
creating good descriptions.
